Kemalezedine is a Yogyakarta artist living and working in Bali. His choice of mediums are main- ly paintings and drawings. Through his works, he challenges the notion of traditional Balinese art while ushering in new ideas and experimentation to Balinese paintings. Kemalezedine has experimented with different styles from street art to figurative works, he also references Batu- an and Kamasan styles of painting. Batuan and Kamasan are Balinese traditional paintings with dark and colorful tones, respectively.
Kemalezedine actively exhibited in Indonesia and the region.
